Privacy policy

Version 1.0

We collect the minimum needed to sell and deliver datasets, and nothing else. This page states exactly what that is.

1. What we collect

When you purchase: the email address you provide at checkout, the order record (dataset, window, amount), and payment status from Stripe. Billing details and card numbers are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.

When you contact us: whatever you include in your message, and the address you send it from.

When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) retained briefly for security and debugging. We run no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. What we use it for

Delivering purchased datasets and their corrections, responding to inquiries, maintaining purchase records for accounting and re-delivery, and keeping the service secure.

3. What we share

Payment data goes to Stripe to process your transaction. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires.

4. Retention

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, re-delivery, and correction obligations. Server logs are retained briefly. Contact correspondence is kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or its correction or deletion (subject to records we must keep for accounting), by emailing orders@datastore.sh from the address in question.

6. Marketing

We do not send marketing email without consent. Transactional email — deliveries, corrections, replies — is part of the service.

7. Changes

Changes to this policy are published on this page as new versions.
